Sarah Malcolm was convicted of the murder of 80-year-old Lydia Dunscomb, 60-year-old Elizabeth Harrison and 17-year-old Ann Price and sentenced to death.

Lydia Dunscomb had been Sarah Malcolm's mistress for whom she worked at her home in Fleet Street. Elizabeth Harrison and Ann Price had been two other servants at the house.

She then robbed the house. When she was later arrested she was found to be in possession of some of Lydia Dunscomb's stolen property.

She denied the murders.

It was suspected that other people had also been involved.

She was executed on gallows erected in the middle of the street between Mitre Court and Fetter Lane on 7 March 1733.
